PUREBRED MAREMMA SHEEPDOGS

No farm is ever complete without a guardian dog.  Maremma sheepdogs offer the very best protection from predator's.  These sweet dogs grow fiercely protective of their families and livestock but provide loving company to their companies and farm children.  While our children are out on the farm nothing compares to the safety of knowing our maremma's Scout and Lucy are always on Patrol as well as up for a big lick up one of the kids faces!

BARN CATS

Every so often we have some cats show up at the farm or we see someone has left a box of kittens out by the road.  We never turn anyone away and try to make room for all who are with us.  If you are looking for a barn cat or two you can find them at Abel's Acres usually chasing some field mice.

HORSES

How we love our horses almost too much at times.  If that is even possible.  We have taken in a number of horses who are seeking forever homes to ensure that until they can find a home they will be well cared for.  Come down to Abel's Acres and see if your next dream is out in our pasture.
