The episodes for the tenth season of the anime series Naruto: Shippuden are based on Part II for Masashi Kishimoto's manga series. The episodes are directed by Hayato Date, and produced by Pierrot and TV Tokyo. Released on DVD under the name The Gathering of the Five Kage (五影集結, Gokage shūketsu), the season follows the assemblance of the Kage, the five village leaders attempting to stop Sasuke Uchiha and the remaining members of the Akatsuki. The season aired from February to July 2011. Its first Japanese DVD volume was released by Aniplex on September 7, 2011.
The season's English dubbed version aired on Neon Alley from July 13 to December 21, 2013. The season would make its English television debut on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block and premiere from April 8 to October 6, 2018.[a] The season's first episode ran on Adult Swim in its original Japanese audio with English subtitles on April 1, 2018, as part of an annual April Fools stunt by the network, and proceeded to play the same episode in its normal English dub format the following week.
Ah, Adult Swim. What other nonsensical scheduling chicanery will you get into when The Click is gone? Perhaps airing Tagalog-dubbed episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist interspersed with a documentary on flightless birds at 3:46 on Tuesday mornings? Moving premiere episodes of Bleach to a hollowed-out cave in the East Andies? Shucks. But, for once, this is a schedule that kinda sorta makes sense. They're obviously not about to give top billing to any of them, strangely, but it's nice to see the new season of Code Geass and the surprisingly engaging Moribito during at least somewhat viewable hours. And they brought back Shin-chan, instead of simply letting the rest of their episodes expire hastily on their website! Hot damn!
Aw, and I'll never see Pokémon eclipse over 600 individual episodes, either! Now I'm just making myself sad. I need to turn this sadness into another emotion. Let's try; irrational anger. Here's another stupid episode of Pokémon, in case you're either twelve years old or attempting to become romantically involved with twelve year olds. It's about Ash and an old friend rescuing an endangered Riolu from Pokémon Poachers, except all Pokémon are technically "captured" anyway so the whole lesson is quite hypocritical.
I have tried to query by the date_session_updated: -1 this was able to get the last updated episodes but it still had other episodes. The query I wanted was to filter it down to just the highest episode and last updated, similar to how Netflix has continued watching the last episode you watched. 041b061a72
